Playing with Craigs boots!

Riley has a thing for Craigs boots. While Craig gets ready for work Riley is always hanging around his feet just hoping the boots will be left alone. No no kitty!

That cute gangster!

Riley has now found a new way to wear a sock. He wears a sock as if they were hats, and of course not just like any other hat it has to be tilted to the side. What a cutie!

He also likes to play games like patty cake, "Way Big" and pounce on Craig. It is really funny. Especially when we plays "Way Big", cuz each day we can see how big he is getting. What a big boy!

Our new kitten!

Saturday September 22nd

This day was a regular day in Lawton Oklahoma, humid hot and boring. Craig and I had been sitting around the house till about 1pm when Craig and a brilliant idea about getting a cat. Now you see where we live we are not allowed to have any animals other than a hamster. For what reason we don't know. Our thoughts were that you can't really hide a dog since you have to take them outside, but with a cat they can stay in all the time. So once again I was convinced that we should go adopt a kitten from the animal shelter....

By about 2pm we were off to Oklahoma City. That is where the nearest shelter is, about an hour and a half drive. When we got there we were immediatly attrached to this little ball of fur sleeping with about three others. I don't really care for cats unless they are white. The shelter only had one. A cute, white and grey, 8 weeks old kitten. I quicky scooped him up and held him. An instant connection, I was very reluctant to hand him over to Craig. Even though Craig was the reason to have been there.

Moments after we held him, we packaged him up and off we went back home. It took us a while to figure out a name for our new family member. But soon enough we decided to call him Riley.
